Staying on the A299 heading south you arrive at the golden triangle of live music in Kent, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Too many live music venues to list, always a great night out. Look out for Broadstairs Folk Week, every August . These three towns always have beach events and unique music events.
Head west into Canterbury with its lively student music scene, always vibrant, excellent train service, be back in London within an hour.
